myPod Podiatry

mypodKirsty and the myPod Podiatry team like to ensure access to the latest technology. Using digital scan technology for orthotic construction, they are able to produce a large variety of devices including soft EVA, hard plastic and carbon fibre orthotics to specifically suit the biomechanical needs of the patient. myPod Podiatry is South Australia and Victoria’s largest user of the Orthema Custom made Orthotic system. Orthema is swiss designed and is state of the art technology. Because they own and operate their own computer controlled milling machines, myPod Podiatrists have complete control over the construction of your devices. With a short turn around time at our main clinics – you can have your new orthotics back to you in up to two days.

myPod are also pleased to introduce the latest treatment available for Fungal Nail infections. The PACT (Photodynamic Antimicrobial Therapy) system uses a combination of light sensitive gel and a specific wavelength light source to treat fungal nails in a safe and painless way. The PACT system only treats nail infections, not discolouration or thickening due to trauma. Your Podiatrist will be able to tell you if PACT will be helpful in treating your nail problem.

myPod Podiatry offers general nail and skin care for all ages, which includes management of corns, callus, ingrown toenails, warts and more. myPod accepts Medicare (EPC) and DVA referrals and chooses to bulk bill Medicare (EPC) referrals. myPod also offers a wide range of Podiatrist recommended footwear suitable for Summer, Winter, Work or Play.
