For those new to Pilates or seasoned regulars, you can have peace of mind that you’ll get a tailored, individual assessment before commencing a class that looks at your specific needs and areas of attention. Our classes are deliberately kept small so that we can maximise our one on one time with clients. Whether you are an elite athlete wanting to work on your flexibility and control to get an edge on your competitors, or a less active person wanting to build your strength or manage an injury, the classes are tailored for your needs.
All classes run for 45 minutes and are held throughout the day (starting before work) to assist patients with their work/life balance and helping them squeeze exercise into their schedule. Plus it’s all claimable through your Private Health Cover!

Taken by our skilled Physiotherapists with comprehensive clinical pilates training, these classes are tailored specifically to the needs of your body during this special period. Pregnancy Pilates, taught by Director Bec Ebert- 1 hour (max 5 people per class)
During pregnancy your body goes through extensive changes to get itself ready for childbirth. Pilates and correct modified exercise can help your body adapt to these cardiovascular, postural and physical changes in a low impact, safe way. As you progress through your pregnancy, the needs of your body change, so all classes are tailored to the specific requirements of each individual, utilising a variety of equipment including reformers, trapeze table, chair and mats.
Mums and Bubs Pilates, taught by Hazel Anderson/ Bec Ebert- 1 hour (max 5 people per class)
Exercise and Rehabilitation following child birth is essential in helping restore fitness, strength and flexibility back to the body, as well as reducing the risk of incontinence, prolapse and post-natal depression. We understand the difficulty of getting time for yourself to achieve this! Our Mums & Bubs classes are specifically designed to help restore your strength and mobility whilst facilitating social interaction with other mums and babies. Classes are kept small with all programs individually tailored to your personal needs use a variety of equipment including reformer, trapeze table, chair and mat.
To get started – call in to book your 1:1 assessment with the Physiotherapist to discuss your history, assess your muscle activation (including pelvic floor, core muscles) and start you on a level suitable for your body.

PHYSIOXTRA PIRIE STREET DIRECTOR
Originally from Perth, Rebecca joined the PhysioXtra team in 2011 and has been a director of the Pirie Street Practice since 2014. While Rebecca is known as a Pilates guru, don’t be intimidated by some of her fancy moves, her passion is in fact helping people of all abilities achieve their goals.
“I love seeing clients who have never tried Pilates or even been on a reformer achieve their fitness goals, sometimes the results are truly amazing”.
Currently studying for her Masters, Rebecca also has a strong interest in Sports Physiotherapy and has worked with many elite athletes and sporting teams.
Rebecca has recently returned from maternity leave after welcoming son Leo, and brings with her tried and tested techniques for pregnancy and post-natal Pilates.
